React Development

Component-driven UIs that users love.

Why how you write React matters as much as that you use it

React is everywhere. But bad React is also everywhere — prop drilling five levels deep, useEffect chains that nobody can follow, components that do too much, state that lives in the wrong place. The framework doesn't save you from bad architecture.

Well-written React is a joy to work with. Components are small and focused. State lives close to where it's used. Side effects are explicit and controlled. The codebase reads like documentation because every piece has a clear, single responsibility.

This matters even more as products grow. A clean React architecture means new features can be added in hours, not days, because nothing is tangled up with everything else.

How I approach React development

I write React the way the React team actually intends it to be used — not just what's popular on Twitter.

  • Composition over configuration so components stay small, reusable, and easy to test
  • Zustand or React Query for state and server-state management without ceremony
  • Radix UI primitives as the accessible foundation, styled with Tailwind to match your design
  • Vitest + Testing Library for component tests that catch real regressions

The deliverable isn't just working components. It's a component system that your team can extend, a state architecture that makes sense, and code that holds up as the product grows.
